td05 = exhaust housing with appropriate wheel 16 g - compressor housing with appropriate wheelhere are the trim levels made by mitsu 16 g >>>> tdo5 + 16 g 505 cfm at 15 psi 20 g >>>> tdo6 + 20 g 625 cfm at 15 psi you can get several in between trims big 16 g (TD05 exhaust + different compressor wheel in 16 g compressor housing)550 cfm at 15 psi small 20 g (tdo5 exhaust + 20 g compressor)595 cfm @ 15 psi ohhh and there are several other trims like 18 g 17 c 25 g 14 b 13 c :) theoretically the tdo5 greddy kit is a tdo5 exhaust side with tdo6 compressor side. smaller exhaust side = better spool but not as much top end. With a 1.5 l per greddy 16 g i'd say in ideal conditions boost should start building (from 0 at 3000 rpm and hit 15 psi by roughly 3800 rpm) - this is based on an estimate since i run the same turbo on my 2 l DSM. I get 15 psi by 3000 rpm with a 3 inch turbo back and 2.5 inch intake ( for reference)
since you get 1200 cfm of possible airflow (good for 800 + hp) there should be no earthly reason to go with bigger turbos. I bet you can find more hp in heads, cams, timing, better routing of intake and exhust. My 2 cents Harry
